Bridges

Missing teeth wreak havoc on your mouth over time.  Gaps in the teeth can cause problems with eating and speech, and when a tooth is missing long enough the jaw bone is vulnerable and the structure becomes compromised. Dr. Jia Y. Lee installs permanent bridges that replace missing teeth and still look natural. Permanent bridges use healthy teeth on either side of a missing or damaged tooth to anchor a replacement in the appropriate location.  The replacement tooth is held in place by caps on the teeth on either side.  This can typically be accomplished in two visits.  First, an impression of the area is taken so that a dental laboratory can create the perfect and natural looking bridge that will be your replacement.  While your new bridge is being fabricated, we can provide a temporary bridge for you to wear.  On your second visit, the bridge will be cemented into place.  Bridges can be replaced if needed, but with proper care bridges can last a lifetime. Intraoral Camera

Dr. Jia Y. Lee takes pride in offering the best dental technology available to his patients.  An intraoral camera is an exciting tool that allows the mouth to be seen from angles that were previously impossible. The tiny camera’s view is also projected onto a monitor, making the same angle of the mouth visible to both doctor and patient at the same time. The intraoral camera helps you and your dentist better see and understand what is happening to your oral health. These detailed views can help you identify a specific area or issue to your dentist, and help your dentist plan a targeted treatment. This exciting change to a typical dental visit promotes a better understanding of any changes to your oral health. An added bonus to using this technology in our practice is capturing images needed for insurance companies to accept procedures. Same Day Crowns with CEREC

CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restorations of Esthetic Ceramic and with this technology, Dr. Jia Y. Lee is able to perform dental restorations such as crowns and veneers in a single visit instead of multiple. With CEREC, the crowns and veneers are designed right in the office while you are sitting in the dental chair. Because of this, Dr. Lee can restore your smile without the need for laboratory assistance, impressions or temporary restorations. Before deciding if CEREC is right for you, Dr. Lee will perform an exam to see how much tooth structure there is to work with. After reviewing your options, he will begin preparing the tooth for restoration. Dr. Lee will then take a digital camera scan of the tooth which will be used to create the final crown(s) or veneer(s). Because there is no need to take messy impressions, and no need for temporary restorations between visits, this is less costly and less time-consuming for the patient.   If you have questions or concerns regarding
