Same Day Crowns with CEREC

CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restorations of Esthetic Ceramic and with this technology, Dr. Jia Y. Lee is able to perform dental restorations such as crowns and veneers in a single visit instead of multiple. With CEREC, the crowns and veneers are designed right in the office while you are sitting in the dental chair. Because of this, Dr. Lee can restore your smile without the need for laboratory assistance, impressions or temporary restorations.


Before deciding if CEREC is right for you, Dr. Lee will perform an exam to see how much tooth structure there is to work with. After reviewing your options, he will begin preparing the tooth for restoration. Dr. Lee will then take a digital camera scan of the tooth which will be used to create the final crown(s) or veneer(s). Because there is no need to take messy impressions, and no need for temporary restorations between visits, this is less costly and less time-consuming for the patient.
